PANJIM: Referring to the disappointing performance of the BJP-led coalition in the Zilla Panchayat polls, Congress on Monday alleged that fearing a similar setback the government has ruled out municipal polls on party lines.
“ZP election has taught the BJP a good lesson. It knows that it will further exposed if municipal polls are held on party lines,” Congress spokesperson Yatish Naik said.
