PANJIM: Congress Party on Sunday alleged that the government is deliberately delaying the restoration of its websites, which were hacked by Pakistan based cyber group, last month, to deprive citizens from administrative information.
Congress spokesman Sudip Tamhankar said that it’s been over a month since the websites were hacked and there have been no efforts on part of government to restore it, thereby making citizens suffer.
“This is a deliberate attempt so that people don’t get access to the administrative functioning of the government,” he alleged.
Tamhankar also expressed the possibility that the websites were not hacked but reportedly called-off by government as there has been no inquiry conducted in the matter so far.
H4x0r HuSsy, an id used to access the site, belongs to a group of hackers from Pakistan, had hacked total 13 government websites, in July.
Key among the departments whose websites have been hacked includes Fire Services, Captain of Ports, Goa Tourism and NRI Commission of Goa and the State information department.
