‘Govt least bothered about livelihood of mining affected’

PANJIM: In view of the multiple delays in restarting mining activities in the State, All Goa Private Bus Owners Association (AGPBA) general secretary Sudip Tamhankar alleged that the government is least bothered about livelihood of mining affected people.

Briefing mediapersons, Tamhankar claimed that the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY) is an eye wash. 

He said “The mining funds released by the Central government are misused by the State government. The ruling party should self-introspect upon whether the State government is really using this fund for the betterment of mining affected people or not.”
