PANJIM: In order to bring efficiency in the functioning of the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department and Planning and Development Authorities (PDAs), the State government has proposed major inter departmental reshuffle of the officers.
Minister for TCP Vishwajit Rane had on Tuesday said that the officers who have completed more than three years in a department would be transferred from one branch to another.
As per the order, Chief Town Planners Jamesh Mathew and Rajesh Naik are retained in the head office.
Town Planner Vinod Kumar Chandra, currently posted at South Goa office, is transferred as Member Secretary of South Goa PDA, replacing R M Borkar. He is now appointed as senior town planner for South Goa district.
Member Secretary of NGPDA and GPPDA RK Pandita is been retained. He is likely to be promoted as senior town planner.
The reshuffle has also been brought into effect in Mormugao PDA, taluka offices of Tiswadi, Pernem, Bicholim, Quepem and Canacona.
