PANJIM: The State government has reconstituted the Goa Toddy Tappers Welfare Fund Board with Cuncolim BJP MLA Clafasio Dias as its chairman.

Curtorim Congress MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco is also part of the Board.
The non-official members are Antonio Francisco Remy Borges, President, All Goa Toddy Tappers Association (AGTTA), Caridade Fernandes, Vice-President AGTTA, Shashikant Shiva Pednekar and Michael Cardozo.
The official members are the Under Secretary of the Finance Department, Director of Social Welfare, Head of Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Goa Medical College (GMC), Director of Institute of Public Assistance and the Director of Agriculture. The Excise Commissioner is the Board’s member secretary.
