PANJIM: Inspector General of Prisons Sachin Shinde has been transferred as District Collector South, replacing Venancio Furtado, who has been posted as Director of Municipal Administration, in a series of transfers affected by the government on Friday.
Present DMA Elvis Gomes has been shifted as IG Prisons. The order was signed by Additional Secretary (Personnel) Yetindra Maralkar. IAS officer Mohan Lal has been appointed Resident Commissioner of Goa Sadan, whereas Tourism Director Ameya Abhyankar has been given additional charge of Special Secretary (Finance-Budget), Additional Secretary (Health) and PPP Cell Director. Director IT Nilesh Faldesai has been transferred as Managing Director of Infotech Corporation. Secretary to Governor Shilpa Shinde has been given additional charge as IT Director/Secretary and Secretary, Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
