PANJIM: As a part of ongoing reorganisation process of various block committees, the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee has dissolved Ponda and Vasco Block Congress Committees with immediate effect.
According to GPCC vice president (organisation) M K Sheikh, the new block committees will be re-constituted soon and every office-bearer will be accountable and responsible for the growth of the party in the particular constituency. The new block committees will be reconstituted in consultation with the local Congressmen, he said.

“Congress Party has now changed its gear and we will emerge as a disciplined organisation. Our main focus is to continue to be the voice of the people of Goa”, Sheikh said.
