GPSC recommends promotions, lifting of probation of 44 officials

Panjim: The Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) recommended the promotions and lifting of probation of 44 officials, through the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC). 

GPSC Commissioner Jose Manuel Noronha said  the promotion of a Health Officer (HO) to the position of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) is among the recommendations for promotions. “The total sanctioned strength of CMO in DHS is nine officers and promotion to the post is made from amongst HOs with 5 years of regular service in the grade.” he added.

GPSC also recommended the promotion of an official to the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) and 2 officers to the position of Superintending Engineers in WRD. An ACF has been promoted from amongst Range Forest Officers with 5 years regular service in the grade. 

GPSC also lifted the period of probation of 6 Executive Engineers  and 31 Assistant Engineers  in WRD besides lifting probation period of 3 section officers at the Secretariat.
