Group clash sparks tension at Vasco

VASCO: Tension prevailed at Mormugao police station on Sunday evening, after two groups from Headland Sada clashed over some police complaint against a member of one group. Police used mild force to disperse the two groups and after lot of efforts, managed to bring situation under the control.

VASCO: Tension prevailed at Mormugao police station on Sunday evening, after two groups from Headland Sada clashed over some police complaint against a member of one group. Police used mild force to disperse the two groups and after lot of efforts, managed to bring situation under the control. 
According to information, the incident occurred at around 7 pm in the evening when some members of a group went to the Mormugao police station to lodge a complaint against the rival group. However, few minutes later the  rival group members rushed to the police station and clashed with them. 
A strong pose of police was deployed to control law and order situation. At some point the confrontation even turned violent, but was controlled by the police. 
Though both the groups dispersed from the police station, however situation remained tensed even after the clash when both the groups had their separate meetings at two different locations.
