The Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) has invited online bids from eligible contractors and agencies for the construction of the Salvador-do-Mundo–Madel Church Bridge at Chorão.
According to official details, the bridge project is estimated to cost ₹274.83 crore and is scheduled to be completed within a period of 36 months from the date of commencement.

The proposed bridge is expected to significantly improve connectivity for residents of Chorão and surrounding areas, facilitating smoother and safer transportation while boosting local development.
GSIDC officials said the tender process has been opened online to ensure transparency and attract experienced agencies capable of executing the large-scale infrastructure project within the stipulated timeline.
