PANJIM: With the new tourism season having started, Goa Tourism on Wednesday announced re-commencing its adventure initiative of hot air balloon rides.
“The initiative was launched during the last tourist season providing another avenue of adventure tourism for travellers,” Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Chairman Nilesh Cabral said.
Cabral said that hot air ballooning services was a big hit in Goa last season and in the second year promises to be as exciting and mesmerising as before. Cabral said that currently two hot air balloons are in operation and rides are provided in Assolna village.
“We are confident about attracting high-end tourists this season to experience the thrill of touring the State in a hot air balloon in addition to many more new tourism adventure services,” he said.
