In a circular issued, Registrar YV Reddy has said that the students B Arch will be graded based on the grades obtained by them in Sessional Assessment (SA) during the current semester.

In those cases where SA of the course could not be completed, the same has to be completed and submitted in the month of June. The results of such students shall be declared on completion of the SA examinations.

The final year examinations and repeat examinations of lower semesters shall be conducted from July 1 onwards.

The college has been directed to conduct the Fifth Year B Arch Examination from July 1 onwards.  The shortfall of attendance of students has to be condoned and attendance will not be an eligibility criterion for appearing for the examinations.

The duration of each examination will be of maximum two hours and papers, which are currently of over two hours long, have to be conducted with reduced marks.

The ‘Final Year Viva’, will be conducted with an external examiner from within Goa in July. Special examinations will be conducted for the ‘Out-of-State’ or foreign students who are unable to answer their scheduled examinations due to their absence from Goa.

The university has made it clear that there shall be no revaluation or challenge evaluation. Students will however have an opportunity to apply for personal verification at the college. All grievances will be settled in the college as per rules. No student shall be detained from moving to the next semester.
