MAPUSA: Commuters appreciated the partial repair and patch work carried out along the National Highway-17 killer stretch between Guirim bypass junction and Colvale on Thursday.
Two weeks after the rains subsided, raw patchwork was carried out on some badly affected stretches along the National Highway. Not just potholes, but places where deep and wide craters where vehicles took a grinding halt before proceeding saw a layer of tar on it. This has come as a sigh of relief to the travellers along the route.
