Handcarts confiscated at Margao

The Margao Municipal Council on Monday cracked a whip against illegal handcarts and encroachments in the Gandhi market area.
About five handcarts were seized by the Municipal team, while encroachments found in the passages were confiscated during the drive.
Chairperson Savio Coutinho informed that the drive was part of the measures to keep the footpaths and passages free from encroachments.
