PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa has directed Chief Secretary Dharmendra Sharma to submit a report on his investigation into the complaint filed by Advocate Aires Rodrigues over the Rs 51 lakh alleged food scam at the 2016 BRICS summit.
Adjourning the hearing on the petition jointly filed by the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police challenging the jurisdiction of the Goa Human Rights Commission (GHRC) to order an investigation into the food scam to June 11, the High Court told the Chief Secretary that his report should include suggestions on how the working conditions of Goa Police can be improved and proper care be taken.
