HC directs GCZMA & Pollution Control Board to conduct inspection of 22 illegal structure in Anjuna

In a recent development, the High Court has directed the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) and the Pollution Control Board to conduct inspections of 22 illegal structures awaiting demolitions in Anjuna. The local Panchayat had previously issued orders for the demolition of these structures, but the process was halted by the Additional Director of Panchayat.

The court has intervened, instructing the relevant authorities to assess the situation and report back, shedding light on the status of these structures and ensuring adherence to regulatory measures.
