HC dismisses ex-MLA plea over MGP polls

PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa on Monday dismissed a petition filed by MGP’s ex-MLA Lavu Mamledar seeking order declaring MGP’s elections as illegal.

Mamledar’s plea also challenged his expulsion from the party and that from the post of general secretary. He has argued that the party’s action against him has not followed the procedures and sought court’s directions for holding MGP Central Committee election under its observation.
