PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa has granted interim relief to the Goa Cricket Association by staying order of North Goa Collector to hand over the possession of sports ground at Porvorim to the Education Department.
The GCA had approached the High Court challenging Collector’s order. During the hearing of the petition on Tuesday, the bench issued notice to the State government while granting the interim relief over handing over physical possession to the Education Department. The matter will now be heard on October 22.
