The Bombay High Court at Goa on Tuesday issued a show cause notice to Advocate General of Goa, Subodh Kantak in respect to the petition filed by Adv Aires Rodrigues against him.
The notice is returnable after two weeks.
The petitioner has challenged the June 15, 2009 order of JMFC Edgar Fernandes, which directed Adv Rodrigues not to ask Kantak questions on his competency, general character and reputation in the defamation case.
