Even as the monsoon is yet to make its appearance in Goa, heavy rains drenched Sattari and Sankhali areas on Thursday. IMD Goa has stated that light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely at a few places over the North or South Goa on Thursday. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and thunder and winds of speed around 40 kilometers per hour are likely at isolated places. There were heavy clouds over Sattari, Dharbandora, and Sanguem Talukas, IMD stated.
