Herald auto expo ends, gets overwhelming response

MARGAO: The sixth edition of the Herald Auto Expo, which concluded on Sunday at SGPDA Ground, Margao, received an overwhelming response.

Twenty automobile and finance companies of India had put up their stalls at the two-day expo. 
BMW, Volkswagen, Honda, Vespa, Yamaha and other major companies displayed their vehicles at the expo.
Earlier, the expo was inaugurated on Saturday at SGPDA Ground, Margao, by Ashok Khanna, Senior Executive Vice President & Business Head Auto Loans, HDFC.
On the occasion, Khanna said that the automobile industry would see a 30-40 per cent rise in sales. 
Khanna attributed the rise to the government since it has begun major infrastructure works pertaining to roads and also expressed hope that automobile companies would benefit from better infrastructure.
