Herald auto expo opens

MARGAO: The sixth edition of the Herald Auto Expo was inaugurated on Saturday at SGPDA Ground, Margao, by Ashok Khanna, Senior Executive Vice President & Business Head Auto Loans, HDFC.

The two-day expo has stalls of 20 automobile and finance companies of India. BMW, Volkswagen, Honda, Vespa, Yamaha and other major companies will display their vehicles at the expo.
On the occasion, Khanna said that the automobile industry would see a 30-40 per cent rise in sales. Khanna has attributed the rise to the government since it has begun major infrastructure works pertaining to roads. He has also expressed hope that automobile companies would benefit from better infrastructure.
