The High Court of Bombay at Goa has reserved the orders into a petition by a local, seeking early Panchayat elections in Socorro. The State government argued that they had agreed to hold the polls on June 4, but State Election Commission kept changing the dates, as a result of which the State decided to hold after monsoon.
