Hindu groups demonstrate in Ponda

PONDA: The National Hindu Movement (NHM) demanded the enforcement of a stringent anti-conversion act to stop conversion across the nation and declare the ‘Hatkatro Khaamb’ at Old Goa as a national monument.

Organisations which participated in the agitation were Shiv Sena, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Sanatan Sanstha, Ranragini. Rama Usapkaroh, Deepa Mamledar, Suryakant Satarkar, Rakha Kolvekar, Akshay Parab, Dr Manoj Solanki, Sruti Hazare, Gajanan Naik and Yogesh Nagvekar also spoke.
