PONDA: Various Hindu outfits under the banner of National Hindu Movement staged a demonstration at old Ponda bus stand on Sunday, making various and sundry demands.
The outfits demanded stringent action on Pakistan for “feeding” jihadi terrorists attacking pilgrims visiting Amarnath shrine and a ban on Chinese products for threatening war with India.
Their third demand was dismissal of the Bengal government for allegedly allowing disruption of law and order. The outfits also demanded a ban on a religious denomination known as ‘Believers’ for allegedly spreading religious unrest in Goa.
The outfits called for punishing officers who put Sadhvi Pradnyasing in prison for eight years on, what the outfits claimed as false allegations.
