PANJIM: Government servants being called to work on a public holiday, on October 2, as part of ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign has become a hot topic of discussion in most government offices for last couple of days, even as they will be enjoying a rollicking five day holidays in the first week of October.
Though it is not compulsory, to work on aholiday murmurs of discontent were heard among government servants about their having to forego a gazetted holiday , Govt servants are in for a bonanza of holidays this week beginning with three public holidays.
