rnTaking advantage of the heavy rains, burglars decamped with cash and gold worth nearly Rs 70,000 from Headland Sada on Saturday morning.
rnBurglars broke into the house of Praveen Raut at Headland Sada sometime between 7 am to 11 am during a downpour and stole cash of Rs 10,000 and other gold valuables worth about Rs 60,000.
rnMormugao police has registered an offence and is investigating the case.
