VALPOI: A house was set ablaze by unknown persons at Nanus-Valpoi, damaging the doors of the newly constructed house late Monday evening.
According to the house owner, Sadiq Nagur said neighbours in the vicinity alerted him regarding fumes at around 6 pm.
When Nagur reached the spot, he said the doors of his house were half burnt, causing a loss of about Rs 40,000, and he alerted Valpoi police and fire services of the incident.
Valpoi police has registered a case against unknown person under Section 436 r/w 34 of IPC.
