PANJIM: Almost 17,893 students will be answering the HSSC examinations from Thursday. The exams will begin with Accountancy (Commerce), Physics (Science) and History (Arts) papers respectively.
The examinations conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will conclude on March 26. Total 17893 candidates have registered (boys-8577 and girls 9316) for the board exams.
The exams will be conducted across 17 centres which includes Cujira as a new centre.
GBSHSE has said that the examination will commence at 10 am for all categories.
“Late arrival beyond 30 minutes after the commencement of examination in each subject will disqualify the candidate from appearing for the examination,” the Board said.
On March 1, students will have to answer the language paper I. There is five-day long gap for chemistry paper which is scheduled on March 6 along with Business paper. March 8 is Economics, March 11 is Biology/Geology, March 13 is Mathematics/political science, March 15 is Psychology/cookery, March 16 is Hindi Language, March 18 is Banking, March 23 is Geography, March 25 Sociology and March 26, Marathi Language
