Husband withdraws anticipatory bail plea

In an interesting development, the husband of late Nadia Torrado on Thursday filed an application before the South Goa Sessions court withdrawing the anticipatory bail application filed by him in the court on June 2.
In his application, Barretto said he is withdrawing the anticipatory bail application filed on June 2 since the mater relating to the crime has been transferred to the Crime branch for the purpose of investigations.
Incidentally, Barretto’s bail plea was scheduled to come up for hearing in the Sessions court on June 14.
