PANJIM: Utpal Parrikar, son of former Chief Minister (late) Manohar Parrikar, issued a categorical statement that he is not supporting any panel for the upcoming municipal elections in Panjim.
Addressing the media on Thursday, he clarified that he is supporting around six such candidates from the BJP backed-panel candidates more from outside as well, but in his personal capacity. The candidates, he claimed, were BJP workers with whom he has shared a personal relation and who have worked for the city for years. .
He steered clear that he is not going to publicly campaign for any of them.
