PANJIM: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rainfall warning to farmers in particular, predicting light to moderate showers in the State on Tuesday, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
“Light to moderate rain would occur at isolated places over Goa on March 31 and partial cloudy weather would prevail over the State on April 1, 2 and 3,” the IMD, Goa Observatory press release says.
The day and night temperatures have been above normal for the State for the last couple of days. Sunday recorded 34.3 Degrees Celsius day temperature, which was two degrees above normal. Night temperatures were almost three degree above normal with IMD temperature being 27.1 Degree Celsius.
For the next 48 hours, IMD has predicted somewhat similar weather conditions but with partly cloudy sky.
