Addressing the media, Ashit Verenkar of Together for Goa University said they have fielded five candidates at the University and another 23 in various colleges.
Speaking on the manifesto, he said their priorities are bus issues faced by students, women’s safety and re-verification of papers.
Referring to last year’s elections where many candidates could not contest as UCR forms were rejected, he said unfair elections should not be allowed this year. He also stated that many political parties would threaten their candidates asking them to back out of the election and said this should not happen.
