PANJIM: The Indus Valley Ayurvedic Centre at Sun Village, Baga-Arpora was inaugurated by Carolina deSouza, wife of DeSouza Group Chairman Ralph deSousa.
The Spa has been designed by Cezar Pinto. The interiors are a reminiscent of the Indus Valley civilization. Defused lighting and pastel wall shades add to the calm and serene mood that prevails in the spa.
The Spa which will function under the guidance of a visionary in the field of Ayurveda Talavance Krishna, MBBS, F.F.A.R.CS (UK), founder and president of Indus Valley Ayurvedic Centre (IVAC), a reputed paediatric anaesthesiologist by profession and who practiced in the USA, Canada and UK for over 30 years.
Dr Krishna has done extensive research and studies in the field of Ayurvedic science of ancient India.
The staff has been individually picked by Dr Krishna and personally trained at the Indus Valley Ayurvedic Centre, Mysore. It has been rated by Harper’s Magazine as ‘one of finest spa’s in the world!
