PANJIM: The parents of one-year-old girl were interrogated at Old Goa police station till late Wednesday after the infant’s body was found at their residence at Dhauji, Old Goa.
“The father informed us that the baby died in her sleep but prima facie investigation reveals that she was strangulated. We are interrogating the parents,” Agassaim PI Uday Parab, said.
Police have registered a case of murder under sections 302 of Indian Penal Code.
