MARGAO: Fed up with the recurring power outages and voltage fluctuations in the village, the Camrolim gram sabha on Sunday resolved to gherao the Junior Engineer (JE) of the Power Department for his failure to address these issues and allegedly for his repeated unavailability as well.
Another concern discussed at the gram sabha was the migrant population in the village. On this point, the Sarpanch provided updates on the ongoing tenant verification exercise. Sarpanch Basilio Fernandes assured to visit each ward along with the panchas and prepare a report on the same.
