MARGAO: Colva police on Wednesday sent the blood stained iron rod used in the murder of Trinidade Martin of Varca to forensic lab for testing.
The Colva police also interrogated one person from Karnataka and residing at present in Varca.

It may be recalled that the octogenarian’s only daughter Jubel Martin was arrested and a seven-day police remand was obtained by the Colva police.
The police have not ruled out the possibility of persons being hired for committing the murder. So far the police have recorded statements of seven persons in connection with Trinidade’s murder.
