MARGAO: Mahesh Amon-kar, a councillor from the BJP camp hinted at dislodging Damodar Shirodkar from the post of Margao Municipal Council chairperson allegedly for his high handed behaviour.
“The Chairperson is making differences among the other councillors of the BJP camp, who supported him,” said Amonkar.

He further said that he will speak to Chief Minister and Margao MLA Digambar Kamat in this regard and to take appropriate decisions.
Amonkar alleged that the Chairperson disrespected the family members of the other councillors during the Shigmo.
However, Damodar Shirodkar refused to comment.
