Is the Margao Municipal Council serious in re-starting the Citizens Facilitation Centre?
This question is doing the rounds in the corridors of the civic body as details concerning the CFC are yet to come from the various municipal sections.
It is learnt that the Council had instructed all sections to submit the flow of process, checklist and other requirements and forms to restart the file tracking system on the Citizens Facilitation Centre.
Memorandums to this effect were issued to the section heads to send the details by February 2, but the full information is yet to come till date.
Meanwhile, the Chief Officer has issued memorandum to the store keeper directing that the store keeper to furnish information on the total number of computers, monitors, keyboards, mouse, printers etc purchased till date and their distribution in each section along with the moveable properties where they are registered. The above information and register was required to be furnished within seven days, sources added.
