PERNEM: After helping him find a new job in Mumbai, some locals of Devulwado in Korgao-Pernem had even gone to reach Prakash Talavnekar (66) at the bus stand.

They were stunned to hear that Talavnekar had died in the bus mishap at Khed-Maharashtra in the wee hours of Tuesday. 

According to locals, Talavnekar, a native of Talavne-Sindhudurg, was residing at his father-in-law’s house in Korgao since his marriage. He was working as a daily wage worker in the village.

Prakash was recently offered the job of a caretaker to look after an elderly person at Mumbai.

The locals, who had helped him to find the new job, had even reached Prakash at the bus stand on Monday evening.
