PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar said that the road alignment and the detailed project report (DPR) on the Zuari bridge has found favour with the Centre. “It will take around two months to comply with the tendering process, before the actual commencement of the work. The PWD Minister further said the government will initiate the tendering process on the eight-km long Western bypass between Nuvem and Dramapur village around June, adding that actual work on the bypass work would start around September this year.
‘It will take three and half years to complete new Zuari bridge’
MARGAO: Saying that the new Zuari bridge will cost the exchequer a whopping Rs 1,150 crore, the government on Thursday said that it will take around three-and-half years to build a new bridge over river Zuari.
