VASCO: Verna Police arrested one Sonu Kumar Naik, a native of Jharkhand for possessing illegal dry leafy substance suspected to be ganja worth over Rs 2 lakh during a narcotics raid conducted near an open air hall Verna on Tuesday evening.
According to police, a team led by Verna PI Sherif Jaques along with PSI Pravin and other staff acting upon reliable information, caught
38-year-old Sonu, currently residing at Sonarwaddo Nagoa, red-handed for possessing the illegal substance suspected to be ganja weighing 2.10 kg worth Rs 2,01,000 approximately.
PSI Sanket Talkar is investigating the case.
