PANJIM: Both the Goa State Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) and the Taleigao Village Panchayat have issued notices regarding the holding of a joint inspection of the Vainguinim beach, on Friday, at 11.30 am.
The local fishermen, the two complainants — Vainguinim Valley Residents Association (VVRA) and Bhanu Shirodkar from Nagali, Taleigao — will also be present for the same.
In the notice issued by the Taleigao Sarpanch Agnelo Da Cunha, it points out that they have received complaints regarding objections to a construction by a hotel at Vainguinim Beach. The ward member concerned and the hotel’s representative have also been called for the inspection.
GCZMA Member Secretary Johnson Fernandes has issued a notice confirming that the joint inspection will take place.
The two expert members of GCZMA and its field surveyor are also expected to attend.
