Juvenile Justice Board reformed

PANJIM, SEPT 15 The State Government has reconstituted the Juvenile Justice Boards, Apna Ghar, Merces for North Goa and South Goa.

The State Government has reconstituted the Juvenile Justice Boards, Apna Ghar, Merces for North Goa and South Goa.
In North Goa, Chief Judicial Magistrate, North Goa district, will be the Principal Magistrate while the two other members will be Mrs Prachi Khandeparkar and Gurunath Vinayak Dhume. The Chief Judicial Magistrate, South Goa district will head the South Goa Board as principal magistrate while the members will be Mrs Auda Viegas and Mrs Seema Salgaonkar. The tenure of the Boards will be of three years, according to a notification issued by Director of Women & Child Sanjeev Gadkar. The reconstitution has been done as per Juvenile Justice (Care & protection of Children) Amendment Act 2006.
