PANJIM: Kala Academy Goa will celebrate World Music Day on June 21 at 4.30 pm at the Foyer area, by organizing different programmes of Indian and Western music.
The duration for each performance will be 5-10 minutes. Apart from the students and teachers of Kala Academy’s faculty of Indian Music and Dance and Department of Western Music, all the artists residing in Goa can participate and present programmes of instrumental and vocal music.
The programme will be open to all. However, artistes are required to inform in writing about their participation with details like name of the interested participant/ artist, address, contact phone/ mobile number type of performance, duration, etc latest by June 16 on email [email protected] or personally call Sandeep Kalangutkar of Kala Academy on mobile no 9823369336/ 0832-2420452/53.
A drum set and sound system will be made available to the participants, free of charge. The other instruments will have to be arranged by the artists concerned.
