PANJIM: ‘The BJP-led government’s two and half year tenure is worse than the Digambar Kamat-led government,’ Congressman Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco claimed on Wednesday, charging that “a hype was created by Manohar Parrikar (as leader of opposition) that Congress was corrupt.’
“Our government was more transparent and accountable for our deeds. This government has proved to be worse than us in the two and half years,” Congress Legislative Party (CLP) spokesperson Reginaldo told media Wednesday evening.
Reginaldo said that the administration under the BJP rule had completely collapsed due to the malpractices of government and those leading the party. He also accused the government of denying information under the right to information (RTI) and trying to weaken the Act.
“Not just this, but the corrupt practices of this government have been exposed by their own officers,” he said.

BJP government completed two and half years of governance on September 9. The party came to power decimating the Congress in March 2012.
