PANJIM: Kiran Kandolkar, former MLA of Tivim Constituency on Monday took charge as working-president of Goa Forward Party (GFP).
Kandolkar, former BJP legislator, had joined GFP on October 26.
Speaking to the media persons, Kandolkar slammed Dr Pramod Sawant-led government for forcing anti-people projects like double tracking of railway line and IIT on the Goans.
“The government is looking at their party interest rather than people’s interest. The two projects are imposed against people’s wish. Our party will stand with the people to fight against the government,” he said.
Kandolkar has been promised Tivim ticket by GFP President Vijai Sardesai.
