Viscera samples preserved after post-mortem fails to establish exact cause of death; investigation continues.
The investigation into the suspected suicide case in Karaswada is continuing, with police awaiting forensic analysis to determine the exact cause of death, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Salim Sheikh said.
According to DySP Sheikh, preliminary findings suggest that the family had consumed a poisonous substance, and investigators believe the child was also allegedly administered the same substance.
He said the post-mortem examination did not conclusively determine the cause of death. As a result, viscera samples have been preserved and sent for forensic examination to identify the substance involved.
Police are now awaiting the forensic report, which is expected to provide crucial evidence regarding the suspected poisoning.
DySP Sheikh stated that the investigation remains ongoing and that officials are examining all aspects of the case before drawing any final conclusions. He added that the police are pursuing every possible lead to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
