Kelekar hospitalised

Jnanpith Award winner, Ravindra Kelekar was taken ill at the Apollo Victor Hospitals after he complained of respiratory disorders.
Kelekar (85) is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of the Apollo Hospital and is being attended by a team of doctors.
Dr Rajesh Javherani told newsmen that Kelekar is suffering from respiratory problem and is being diagnosed for chest infection.
“He is recovering, but it will take some time for him to full recover, given his age and his lung condition. Kelekar will continue to stay in the hospital for 2-3 more days”, Dr Javherani added.
Replying to a question, Dr Javherani said Kelekar is responding to treatment and is showing some signs of improvement. “If this continues, I will be able to discharge him from the hospital after 2-3 days time”, he said.
