Bihar hold Goa 3-3

Indira Lamani struck a hat-trick as Goa girls were involved in 3-3 thriller with Bihar in the 7th Sub-Junior National girls football at Forestry Academy ground, Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The teams were level 2-2 at the lemon break.
Indira opened the scoring in the 14th minute and doubled the lead five minutes later.
Bihar rallied to equalise within 13 minutes with goals in the 27th and 30th.
Eight minutes into the second half, Lamani completed her hat-trick, only for the team to be pegged back by a resilient Bihar side in the 56th.
Goa played out the last ten minutes with ten as they had used their three substitutions to replace injured players.
Ansiva Vaz, Bethany Remidios and Leena Gaunso came off the field. Goa manager Meena Vaz expects them all back for the next match as the injuries were not serious. “The girls played very well and I feel if we had not lost some players through injuries we would have hung on.”
